RFID Lift Tickets
How it works:
Pats Peak uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) for lift access. Electronic access to the lift is based on ticket type and time of day.
This touch-free system means you’ll have one lift ticket Card that you can reload online with additional days of skiing throughout the season. Reload the Card and go straight to the slopes!
STEP 1: Purchase Your First Ticket
- Visit BOOK YOUR VISIT to choose your date and product(s). There will be an initial $5 fee for a reloadable RFID Card.
- After you check out, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a barcode. Do not lose this email.
STEP 2: Pick Up Your Card*
- Our kiosks are in the entrance area and are quick, easy and touchless. When you arrive, go to any Kiosk Pick Up Box (PUB) to get your Card. Using your phone or printed email, scan the barcode from your confirmation email at the kiosk.
- The kiosk will print all tickets in your order in the form of RFID Cards. You may head straight to the lift with your Card.
- If you purchased rentals, next stop is the Rental Shop to get your rentals.
*If you reloaded an existing Pats Peak RFID Card online you can head straight to the lift (or Rental Shop for rentals) with that Card.
STEP 3: Using Your Card
- Place your Card in your LEFT jacket pocket, by itself, away from credit cards, cell phones, or other RFID-enabled tickets. Chest or sleeve pockets are perfect. If you have a small child, you might need to give them a little boost to get their card scanned at the lift. We suggest that kids put their Card in a goggle/helmet pass holder on the left side of their helmet to ensure the RFID Card is scanned properly.
- Never carry more than one RFID Card (including Cards from other resorts) at one time.
- The Card, and any associated/loaded products, are not transferable and only valid for the original recipient of the Card and associated products.
- Once you arrive at the chairlifts, go to the gates. Wait a few seconds for the reader to detect the Card and the gates will open automatically. If the gate does not open, step back slightly and try again by positioning your Card closer to the reader. Otherwise, step away from the line and a member of our team will be available to help you.
STEP 4: Reload Your Card
- Once you have your Card, you can use it all season by adding tickets through your online account.
- To reload your Card you can scan the QR Code on the back of your Card or go to our BOOK YOUR VISIT page to choose your date and product(s).
- Log in to your account to complete your purchase.
- The front of your Card reads your WTP Number that you will use to reload your Card. Following your transaction, the product will be automatically added to your Card. You are now ready to go directly to the gate.
