PATS PEAK SKI AREA REVEALS EXCITING UPGRADES FOR THE 2024-2025 WINTER SEASON

Henniker, NH, August 22, 2024 – Pats Peak, acclaimed for delivering outstanding skiing and snowboarding experiences, is excited to unveil a series of capital improvements for the 2024-2025 season. These upgrades highlight their dedication to creating an exceptional atmosphere for both experienced skiers and newcomers, solidifying Pats Peak’s status as a premier destination for winter adventure.

“These exciting capital improvements are well underway. Each year, we strive to continually improve the experience for our skiers and snowboarders. We are proud to reveal our new mountain operations building for the upcoming season,” remarked General Manager Kris Blomback.

These capital improvements are set to elevate every facet of the Pats Peak experience, from the initial arrival to the final thrilling descent. Key upgrades include:

  • State-of-the-Art Mountain Operations Facility: A new 6-bay Mountain Operations Building will bring state-of-the-art capabilities to the Mountain Operations Team. This new Mountain Operations Building, spanning 19,000 square feet, is just a few weeks away from being ready for use. Having recently celebrated its 60th Anniversary, Pats Peak is now focusing on laying a solid foundation for the next 60 years. This building is key to that future. It will expand the maintenance capabilities by over 400% and streamline operations. At its heart, Pats Peak is an operationally driven ski area, focused on delivering excellent snow conditions. Every aspect, from ski lifts and grooming to parking and vehicle maintenance, works together to provide guests with the best ski experience. This new facility will enhance all those efforts, putting the finishing touch on Pats Peak’s commitment to excellence. This upgrade reflects the ownership’s commitment to providing the staff with the best resources, so they can, in turn, offer guests the best experience.
  • RFID Ticketing: They are focusing their customer service effort on making the arrival at the ski area as smooth as possible. Once the RFID Card is received, it can be reloaded from the comfort of home or during the car ride up, allowing guests to go right to the lifts.
  • Upgraded Snowmaking Technology: Pats Peak is dedicated to maintaining superior snow quality. These advancements will ensure exceptional snow conditions throughout the season, delivering optimal skiing and riding experiences.
    • 4 New Semi-Automatic Fan Guns from HKD – This will enable them to optimize snow production at the start of the season, allowing them to lay down more snow faster.
    • 12 New HKD Impulse Snow Guns – These new snowmaking guns on Downdraft enhance their capability to produce snow even at marginal temperatures. This equipment provides an efficiency boost of at least 2 degrees, which might not seem significant, but in the realm of snowmaking, the difference between 26 and 28 degrees is substantial.
  • Advanced Technology of New Rental Equipment: The addition of over 400 pairs of new skis, 600 pairs of boots, and various other upgrades to the Starting Gate Rental Shop significantly enhances the enjoyment of guests’ skiing and snowboarding experiences. These advanced skis and snowboards feature the latest technology, promising an exceptional time on the slopes. Pats Peak recognizes that having the right equipment is essential for elevating the skiing experience for both seasoned enthusiasts and beginners.
  • Valley Wedding Venue – This area has been beautifully upgraded, now featuring a new ceremony site that includes a stunning slate bridge and a picturesque flower garden. The space has been thoughtfully designed to offer breathtaking views and a charming ambiance, perfect for special occasions. The flower garden is meticulously landscaped, providing vibrant colors and seasonal blooms, while the slate bridge adds an elegant touch, creating a picturesque backdrop for memorable ceremonies and events.
  • Traffic Flow – This is always an issue during busy periods and will benefit from some new improvements. These upgrades aim to reduce wait times, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure a smoother experience for everyone during high-traffic periods.

Pats Peak Season Passes provide outstanding value for guests who ski or ride frequently. Pats Peak offers 100% snowmaking, one of the earliest to open ski area in southern NH, night skiing featuring NH’s only beginner run off the summit-open both day and night, 11 lifts with tremendous uphill lift capacity and base lodges designed with skiers and riders in mind.
